This is an exclusive series that we set up to keep all clients and candidates up-to-date with the latest trends and thought leadership articles from the software development and recruitment sector.

In the forever evolving software sector, there are always new tools, standards and releases. Alongside this, technology is disrupting traditional markets more than ever as tech start-ups render older services and products obsolete.

As technology continues to progress, becoming a bigger part of our lives, programming skills are increasingly more important in the job market. It is this dynamic and changing environment which led to us creating Softweb Resourcing. We felt there was a gap in the market where we could provide real value to candidates and clients when finding specific and niche programming talent.

All too often, there were “IT specialist agencies”, who rarely specialised in all areas of IT. So, we decided to focus Softweb purely on recruiting for development skills in the Software and Web markets.

Going beyond this, we wanted to have consultants who only focussed on one programming language or niche - meaning that they could invest all of their time and resources building brilliant talent networks for aspiring tech companies. We did not just want to be specialist in this sector, but thought leaders and the go-to market experts.

We also thought that using a recruitment agency was sometimes seen as a necessary evil and we are on a mission to change this. We were set up with the goal to make the recruitment process an enjoyable journey, and to build trusting relationships. Finding a new job, or hiring new members for your team can be stressful, but we want to make it as smooth as possible.
