C++ Software Engineer – GUI / Qt - Senior or Lead - Poole, Dorset

A brilliant opportunity for a local C++ Software Engineer or someone looking to relocate to the South Coast. This is a stable, yet growing and award-winning product company with lots of scope for progression and new C++ projects – it’s the perfect time to join. 

You will be responsible for projects from concept to completion giving you full exposure to the business with the product being used globally.

The C++ Software Engineer will have variety in the role working on the core C++ product including the GUI using Qt. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to develop and expand their knowledge in a highly talented software team. he role could also be moulded into a Lead Software Engineer - having greater input into the product, and technical leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent C++ on Linux / Unix
• Good knowledge of Qt, Multithreading, GUIs
• Understanding of Real-time Operating Systems
• Qualified to degree level or comparable project knowledge

Beneficial Requirements:

• Experience within an Embedded environment
• A good understanding of web based systems: Javascript, HTML and CSS and OpenGL
• Exposure to Linux Kernel and Bootloader Development
